The guy with his name on the letterhead was always quick to say “The offer is the spot.” (Full disclosure: I disagreed.) Nevertheless, I decided to make the offer the spot. And why not? Running footage of Toyotas winding down PCH have been done to death, so adding a little humanity to the numbers can only be a plus.
