THE MOB MUSEUM - Brand Launch

The Mob Museum tells the story of a town that had to struggle to transform itself from mob cash cow to legitimate tourist destination. But when I got involved, it was still mostly an idea. From the start, it was made clear that it was important to avoid glorifying organized crime, while conveying the mob's impact on Las Vegas with an entertaining, engaging language.

Interactive - Old Vegas Walking Tour App

Like most towns, Sin City has changed a lot since its early years. But when the town in question has such a rich, often dramatic history, you can’t let it get buried in the desert. (Why’d I go with that metaphor? …No reason…) The Old Vegas Walking Tour App allows visitors to see what uncovers the good, the not-so-good, and the “I-don’t-think-that’s-any-of-your-concern.”

Office Party Greeting Cards

We know the deal: If you’re in the office, at some point, you’ll inevitably be invited to a… Let’s call it “a celebration.” I created a set of Office Party Greeting Cards to make sure my clients didn’t arrive empty-handed for those awkward 15 minutes.

Wall-to-Wall

So. Wall-To-Wall Studios (Honolulu & Pittsburgh) had two things:
1. A media buy during the “Mad Men Finale”
2. An idea.

They just didn’t know what to say at the end of that idea. So I came up with something.

Derby Dolls - Branding campaign

Roller Derby is quietly growing in popularity across the country. Its media presence needed to make an impact while conveying the league’s — pun absolutely intended — impact. The campaign's tagline "Bloody Exciting" is designed to reflect Derby Dolls' brand of hard-hitting action.

First Aid App

Roller derby, I’m here to tell you, is violent. So having knowledge in first aid is beneficial. I created a first aid app to help out people in case they didn’t know what to do for cuts, burns and zombie attacks. (It happens.)

blood drive promotion

Each week, Derby Dolls give blood on the rink, so we felt their fans should make their own contribution. And when they did, they got a free cookie, served in a bag that got them five bucks off their next ticket. It was a win-win, and a bloody good idea.

The Lupus Foundation - Awareness Campaign

Unlike many diseases, Lupus isn’t obvious. Those afflicted can look perfectly healthy, yet struggle with terrible pain. “The Truth Hurts” print campaign was designed to raise awareness, by having the full story reveal itself upon a deeper look.

NORELCO - print

Whether you shave each day or not, there are some moments in life when you just have to look your best. This print campaign reassures its audience that, for those days? There’s Norelco. Rather than going with the obligatory “guy-shaving-in-mirror” approach, the print campaign was focused on the benefit of a clean shave.

Old work, fresh ideas

I have never understood the notion that ideas have an expiration date. In fact, if an idea is any good, it lasts pretty much forever. But! You, kind visitor, are a busy person, so I’ve relegated some of my earlier work to this page.

If you do have the time, I encourage you to explore. Despite being old, I don’t think any of these are stale.
